We’re often asked, how much does it cost to create a personalisation business… and while we have invested a considerable amount of time and resources into creating iMadeit.co.za, you don’t have to if you become a reseller. Below we explain how easy it is…
Pick a Target Market
You need to know who you are appealing to, so understanding your target market is critical. Keep with what you know, if you are a mountain biker and have great ideas for products that mountain bikers will buy, start there.
Create a Brand
Make sure people can identify your business and your unique ideas. Decide on a business name, logo and put together some business stationery like business cards, quotes and invoices…
Start Marketing with your inspired designs
When you become a reseller, you’re welcome to use any ideas/photos on our website and social pages as long as orders come through to us. You can also create your own unique range by creating mock ups. If you need help to do this, we do offer a basic design service.
Pricing in your marketing is important. Once you sign up as a reseller, we give you a reseller pricing guide. The guide will give you an indication of what it will cost you to produce an item, then you can add your mark up. All iMadeit.co.za prices are inclusive of VAT.
Place your order
When your become a reseller, you will be able to place your order by filling in a briefing document and sending it to info@imadeit.co.za – once we receive your order, you will receive confirmation that there is stock of the items that you want. If there is no stock, we will make recommendations of alternatives and provide pricing.
Kindly note: Some resellers will post photos from Etsy – we don’t recommend this has we often cannot source exact items.
Delivery
We recommend that you advise between 5 – 7 working days for delivery of your items. Often it is quicker but in peak seasons, delivery does take longer due to delays at suppliers. We can arrange courier on your behalf and this can be quoted when you place your order.
What else do I need to do?
You will need to register and be made aware of our terms and conditions to become a reseller. You can do this by sending an email to us. Please introduce yourself in the email and give us an idea of what your business plan entails. If you have already set up a website, social pages etc. please include this in the email.
We will then send you our reseller contract that will detail the reseller discounts and terms and conditions.
