What shipping methods are available?

We use The Courier Guy to deliver door to door nationally. Our main studio based in Gauteng so delivery in Gauteng is cheaper. Outlying areas include those defined as townships by The Courier Guy.

We also have a collection option in Olivedale and Northcliff in Johannesburg as well as Fish Hoek in Cape Town. However, if the product needs to be produced in our Gauteng studio (typically this is for Laser Printed items and some Laser cut/engraved products) you will need to wait our next stock delivery to Cape Town and this can lengthen the turnaround time.

We’ve recently added Pep Paxi and PostNet to these offerings.

How long will it take to get my package?

Unless otherwise stated on the website, for corporate gifts and small quantity orders, our guideline is 5 – 7 working days after artwork sign off and payment. Note that loadshedding and seasonal periods like Christmas and year end gifting (which starts September to December), Valentines Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day can extend this to 10 – 12 working days. This DOES NOT include the delivery services. We cannot be held liable for delivery delays on the part of the delivery services we use/you choose.

Note: placing an order on a Tuesday or Wednesday has the highest probability of it being delivered by Tuesday of the following week.

I need my order urgently – how do I expediate the order?

We do try and accommodate rush orders where possible. It is not always possible due to stock supply and other orders in the system. Rush orders that are accepted will be charged a 30% rush fee. We also reserve the right to back out of a rush order if the person placing the order does not pay immediately or if there are ANY delays in approvals.

Do You Ship Internationally?

No, we service South Africa only

Why can I not do payment on delivery?

The nature of this business is personalisation which means that products not paid for are unsellable to other people. We require full payment upfront as we are a small business with limited cashflow, so we do not keep stock on hand and will order on demand. This means we will need your payment before we can buy stock from suppliers. 

Do you charge a design fee?

This is largely dependent on the quality of the imagery supplied. If we need to redraw anything, it needs to be outsourced and as a result it does carry a design fee. Any design that can be done in-house will be done free of charge and this includes up to 2 changes. After 2 changes, each revert will be charged R150 per revert. 

Embroidery digitisation and vectorising are examples of items that cannot be done in-house.

Payment Information

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept credit card payments via Payfast, Yoco, Yoco EFT on the website. Direct EFTs are accepted as well.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

Yes it is. We use Payfast and Yoco which are both reputable online payment gateways in the market. We have also upgraded our SSL-certificates on the website to ensure your safety.

Does your website represent stock volume accurately?

While we try manage stock, we do take offline orders and order many products on demand. Suppliers do run out of stock, particularly over busier periods. If a substitution does need to be made, we will contact you to approve and will give you the option to cancel the order.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

Email us as soon as possible on info@imadeit.co.za. Cancellation fees and change fees may be incurred if a change is required with the stock or if the order has already entered production. 

How Do I Track My Order?

How Can I Return a Product?

Returns are ONLY possible in the case where a mistake has been made after the creative proofs have been approved (in the case where we are doing the artwork). If the quality of the supplied artwork is sub-optimum, we cannot be held liable for colour and image distortion. If supplied artwork is incorrect, we cannot be held liable. Products do have specific care instructions, if a product has been used/washed in a manner that contradicts care instructions, we will not accept a return or do a replacement. Returns can be done within 7-days of delivery. Returns can be arranged by emailing info@imadeit.co.za.
